Loss, Lust and Longing is an installation that comprises Film, Sound, Spoken Word, Performance and various forms of Visual Art and Design.
Every artist has started with the same three words, using the concept as a springboard into their own medium and response. The audience will have every sense challenged and will be asked to question their own meditations on the themes.
With multiple collaborators and live performances there will be something to engage everyone.
The installation runs for one week 17th February – 24th February 2012 with an opening night packed full of performances and live showing of the artist’s responses.
The venue Tago Mago is fully licensed with a delicious array of food and beverages to help you enjoy the artistic fiesta of Loss, Lust and Longing.Featuring Original music by Alon Ilsar, Spoken Word written by Yvette Harvey performed by Raphael Benn and Elinor Bestor, Film Collaboration with Mitchell Bainton and Bridget Harvey featuring Chloe Mckeand, Claudia Tory and Nom de Plume, Roving Performance by Michelle Teunon, Kate Goldie and Cory Corbett, Visual Art by James Miller, Milinery Design by Hannah Pearce, Sculpture by Jade Fredericks, Visual Art, Performace Art and Sculpture by Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule, Digital Art by Dave Wedervang, Visual Art by Wil Pearce, Photography by Max Davidson and Diane Kitanoski, live performance by The Colours Tribute Band and much much more!!
